Dear parents and campers,
As the summer of 2009 comes to an end, I'd like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who made Xcelerate Lacrosse Camps a part of their summer plans.
Once again, we as coaches were thoroughly impressed with the young talent across the United States. More importantly, we were thankful for the enthusiasm and desire to learn. Each camper came to camp ready and willing to improve. As a coach, you can’t ask for anything more than that.
This summer we also had our first “previous camper” join our ‘junior’ coaching staff. Peter Baum was a 2 time camper of ours in Oregon and is now off to play Division One lacrosse at Colgate University in New York. With Peter on staff it reminded us of two very important points. One, it reminded us (Me) that we’re getting older :). Two, it made us all feel proud that our coaching efforts contributed to Peter’s success. Truly, this is one of the main reasons we started this business 7 years ago. To give kids the tools necessary to play at the highest level, especially in ‘non-traditional’ lacrosse locations.
As the 2009-10 school year begins, please remember to keep an eye out for our off-season clinics. We will post events on our website throughout the year and send out email announcements. We will also be offering our annual ‘Early Bird’ summer camp special at the end of 2009, giving everyone an opportunity to save on tuition for our 2010 summer camps.
Again, thanks to everyone for being a part of our summer camp season and we wish all of you a safe and successful school year.
